SD Cards, SanDisk or PNY?

Just curious which one works best with the axim or if there really isn't any difference. I'm curious because I never had any luck with them in the past, but I am sure they are making these alot better nowadays. I've had some take a crap after a few uses, but am ready to try them out again.

Some people here report issues with the standard Sandisk cards. I have an Ultra II that works great though. I have occasionally popped my cameras PNY 128MB card into my Axim with no issues. Lexar tends to be the most reccomended around here, but also a tad bit more expensive (not much though)

Go with Lexar, the card that since October has had ZERO related failures, whose performance outclassed the others, and whose price point is usually below its competitors in SD media. This is based off a lot of testing in January and February.

I would like to go with lexar, but my choices are limited where I live and I kinda need something today. So I am stuck between sandisk and pny.

After using yellowpages and store locators for major retailers, it seems your best bet would to be to drive to Reno and pick one up. It's not that far.

Here's the test results from this past winter. http://www.choirguy.com/memory.pdf

Sandisk was very inconsistent, and only two people reported PNY cards. The one PNY was just as functional as a Sandisk, so I'd probably go that direction.

Do you have an Office Max near you? Such as one in Reno? They carry Lexmarks in-store. Give them a call.
