Excellent! What's your device and operating system?

I've heard Pocket Mechanic doesn't work with WM5 due to "too many white screens", so I haven't tried it. Glad to see it works for you.

With that much difference in performance, it could be your device (what is it?) or the fact that the card was manufactured differently (although labeled the same).

EngrPaul,
Are the benchmark results the same for the Ritek Ridata 80x 8GB card when used in the X51v compared to your results posted for the X50v?

I don't benchmark on my WM5 device due to reported problems running PM.

I can tell you this, I used to back up my device to the 8GB A-Data CF card. It would take a very long time, at least half of the 44 minutes suggested by the X51v data backup program. Since switching to backing up to the 50X A-Data 2GB SD card, it now takes about 4 minutes. Sweet!

I just learned Pocket Mechanic 2 has been relesed to work with WM5.

I will download it, and try to find some time to benchmark the cards I still have on the X51v.

[EDIT] The card benchmarking module of PM is not ready yet, looks like Anton will include it in next week's update. I just bought 2.03

Any updates? I noticed that PM is now 2.07. Not sure what the changes are.

They just added the module a few days ago. I ran it on a card and did not get equivalent results to version 1.XX Pocket Mechanic. There is a lot more information, but nothing that directly corresponds with the previous results.

You can download 2.07 and try it for 15 days, I think, to see what I mean.
