Where do I Install new themes I downloaded:
to RAM? or to BIS? or to SD/CF?

I create a folder called My Documents on all my places of storage, Bis,Cf,Sd cards,and I keep my Themes there on my (cf )card in that folder.

You need to use activesnyc and put them under my divice. Other wise, you can put them anywhere for storage.

Only if you want to waste your Ram lol, create My document folders on your cards and keep your themes there, your today screen settings will automatically find them and will show up on your list of themes,without wasting your ram!

You may have to delete the hidden file Ignore_my_docs to be able to use themes form a memory card. Not hard to do, and like rsaturn9 said, it is a much better option to keep them on a memory card then on your device. Good Luck~

What do you mean by theme? Do you mean .tsk files? You will have to put them in the Windows directory to use it. However, you can install themes for Wisbar and other programs on a memory card.

You can save your Themes(.tsk files) to your card by creating a MyDocuments folder on your CF,SD or Bis and it will be automatically seen in your today screen menu!

Ok, here's what I did; through ActiveSync, using EXPLORE, I double-clicked on My Pocket PC; here I have the following folders: Databases, BIS, CF card, ConnMgr, profiles, Program Files, SD card, Temp, Windows; plus, I created a folder called My Documents; I also created the My Documents folder inside BIS, CF card and SD card; I then dumped all the .tsk files inside the My Documents inside SD card;

On my axim after sync, and soft-reset once I go to SETTINGS->TODAY I only find the 3 default skins (Bliss, DELL WM2003SE, Windows Default) - all the other .tsk theme files don't show up?

What did I do wrong - or what step did I miss, if any?

That is a lot of My Documents folders! Still no luck finding that Ignore my docs file huh?
