plmyers..Are you sure you use skins for WMP10 not WMP9?
I got mine stored in a directory of my SD card no problem at all!

I guess I cannot say for sure what version the skins were made for. I have downloaded several different skins with the same results. Perhaps they are all for the wrong version. Is there a place you know of that has skins properly formatted for WM10? The places I have been do not specify, but they do show the skins on an Axim. Couls still be the wrong WM version.

That skin seems to work fine. I have no issues at all with this one. I must have just been getting skins made for the wrong version of MP before.
At least now I know it is possible to make it work, I just have to guess at whether the skins are the right version.
Here's what I did and it worked great. Downloaded skin to PC copied whole file to Activesync folder and place it in my pictures folder. Then went to media player on Axim and opened skins folder.

SolSie, I can get to where you recommended to plmyers, but I can't find a single WMP 10 skin. (I must have brain damage). Are there really WMP 10 skins on there or are you guys just getting the themes for the entire system?
Just a note in general - the only skin I have gotten to work so far (besides the default skin, of course) is the one called 'Tester' that was attached on page 2. Do you really think I'll have luck with other ones?

Skins generraly work with my wm5 x50v BUT each time i open windows media player, it open on skin searching page and i have to select the skin again... there is a way to open wmp with the skin already applied??? thanks for help!
oh.. thanks i tried WM6 Suite on the other post and they work! nice! BUt it seem than WMP 11 is not well coded... anyone know where i can find a WMP 11 correctly coded?
