Expea2 VGA on WM5 / X51v HOWTO

I know some of you folks have gotten. Expea2 VGA working on wm5 /x51v It be great if you could write up a tutorial on how to do it. What software is needed, how to tweak things, screen shots of the final result etc.

Those of us who would like to set it up need to jump between about 3 diffrent sites and a multitude of posts to do it. I personally would like to skin my x51v so it exactly reflects the photos here
if this is even possible.

maybe blazingwolf can help with this as he/she seems to be in the know.

Do you have Wisbar Advance; iLauncher or WAD?

Bear in mind that you're trading speed and memory for those aesthetics. Unless you have upgraded to, or have a PDA with, 128MB RAM, my opinion is that these themes are a waste of already limited resources.

anonOmus,

as SolSie mentioned you will need Wisbar Advance 2 and Wisbar Advance Desktop. This will complete the skinning portion of the programs in the screenshot. At least for the today screen. The today plugins that you see in that picture are PocketBreeze and iLauncher, both by SBSH. The shutdown program is psShutXP.

If you need help with these progemas it would be a good idea to visit the forums over at Lakeridge and SBSH as there are extensive threads there talking about the ins and outs of using Expea2.

Oh, I'm a he. :)

wowsers!

thanks for the quick response!

I dont have any of the software yet, but I will procure them this evening and install. I have an x51v so i don't think memory will be a problem. I'm a bit of an eye candy type guy so I dont mind taking the perf. hit so i can run this incredible skin.

I use Wisbar and expea2 as well as the Vista skin plus all of my other programs and still have 31+ megs free program memory about 38megs total free. I have all programs installed to BIS and have yet to have a memory issue.
