You can map a button to turn off the screen with mortplayer.

Go into setup and then into buttons.

Screensaver is the option which is the equivelent of turning of the screen

The confusion might be the term 'screensaver'...I thought of a saver like on my pc- a series of images or such. I was looking for a screen 'toggle'. Not trying to be nit picky- just explain possible confusion!!

I LOVE this app!! And I have to say- I never would have tried it, if not for these fabulous skins!!! Keep them coming!

This might not be the correct place for this- but I wanted to ask- 1. will there ever be a way to skin the today plugin? and 2.-- the timer/alarm functions are not very reliable- as in they work 25% of the time- on my x30 high. This is already a killer app, in my opinion- but these fixes would take it over the top!! Thanks, again!

It is since the first version... Only there are no skins for it except for the included "SmallBlue" example...

I'm using system functions for this. On some devices they work perfect, on others sadly not...
If the device powers on, but doesn't play, maybe the storage card isn't available in time. Try increasing the "Delay start..." option in "Alarm settings".

Hey Mikesss, I have a question about your new skin, Cleanglass (awesome by the way, this skin alone brought me back to playing with MortPlayer) and Mort's darker version. In the Playlist screen, in the lower right-hand corner you have two buttons, "Save" and "Save as." (see the third screen to the right in the above quote from Mort) For some reason, they don't work on my Axim x50v. If I want to save any changes I've made to my playlist, I have to go up and click on Menu -> Playlist -> Save or Save as. Is this a known problem with the skin or am I having a different issue?

Thanks for any help and again for a truely awesome skin.

No, you aren't having a different issue. I just forgot to align the button image maps to those two buttons. Thanks for pointing that out!

I love the ClearGlass & DarkGlass skins. I'm using the DarkGlass at the moment. So far everything about them is near perfect. The large Play, prev, and next buttons are great. I even use my Axim as an Alarm clock. I love the big buttons for the stop & snooze but I really wish the text and icons were bigger. When I wake up in the morning I just can't tell the difference between the two so I start pushing them both.

Also I noticed that when using the DarkGlass skin you can't see the alarm buttons at all (even when I'm fully awake). The stop/snooz icons are not even loading. Its just two pure white buttons. They load fine on the ClearGlass skin (aside from a little difficult to see when I first wake up).
