Ehm. There is the possibility that Apple will contact you about this, because they don't like it when others make money from their designs (and they are not the only ones).

Personally I like Apple iPod's clean and easy to use design, but when I search for skins for Windows Media Player Mobile, I didn't find what I like. So I decided to DIY and share it with this great community, that's my wish.

The reason I am charging for these skins is trying to recover the expenses I incurred in graphics software and some hardware upgrades. If one ever considered the times and efforts I put in to this DIY, I am definitely running it with big losses.

I also understand that Apple might pull this down due to its look-alike. But if you look around there are oceans of other iPod replicas, and the truth is every product is a copycat of another. In fact, I think I also help push Apple's products to this wonderful community. Do you agree?

Bottom line is – I hope I didn't upset anyone here and out there (you know who).

good point... companies like these seem to be pretty anal about people making money off of their products or designs.

I get what your saying, but I don't know who would pay for a little windows media skin. I'd just DIY my own iPod skin.

I believe this is the same one here at handango. Its the same developer. A buck cheaper too.

Charging for a copyrighted skin is wrong...PERIOD.

The mods should delete this thread or, at the least, remove that link.

Great job on the skin but I have to agree with duckie. Apple spends millions in product design.. it'd be wrong for someone to take that design and make money off it.

I agree thats why I wouldn't buy it. Just was pointing it out that it was available.

I paid for NewPod and tried installing it on my Dell Axim X3 with Media Player 9 and nothing. The skin chooser in WMP doesn't even see it. I've tried VGA and QVGA. I've tried using the folders to drop into the windows media player folder and just copying the files by themselves. WHAT GIVES?
