How to skin top and bottom bars?

Hi - I would really apprecite some help please.

I am using an Axim X51v WM5 - PB,CB, ILauncher plug ins.

I have skinned today using some themes - .tsk files but when I use Juni's black and white or blackwdz the top and bottom bars are grey not black. if i use the ones supplied, guava, dell or windows default - the bars take on the right colours.

I am putting the tsk files in the my documents folder - can anyone help get black bars from these themes/skins?

You need to use Wisbar to skin those bars. I have all of Juni's exclusive skins and they work great with Wisbar 2.0.

I dont want to use wb because it slows down the machine - I know I cant skin the bars the way you can in WB but I want to change the colour from grey to black.

First, you're not skinning your today screen, it's a theme.
That will help when you look for themes.
You don't want to skin your top and bottom bars, you want to use a theme.

Skinning is where you change the whole look of a program and you have to edit all sorts of images and different things like that.

WM5 doesn't (normally) allow you to have certain colors for you top and bottom bar.

If you do a search, you can find threads like this one, http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=116325, that tell you how to get what you want.
That should be a good thread to get you started. it has links to other threads too.

Also, if you haven't tried WA2 in awhile, you may want to give it a try again. The developer recently did alot of work so that it no longer slows the machine down. It made a huge difference on mine in both WM5 and WM2003SE modes. Juni's themes bring on so any compliments and ooohs and ahhhhs. Makes me proud to show my little guy off.
