Creating Themes/Skins

I was looking to create my own theme or skin (I guess it would be theme with no wa2 and skins with :P) and I've seen a ton of info on creating things, but all the ones I have seen make it a point to say "this method works only with x OS" (basically any one of them except WM5.

Anyways, I want to make my own because I can't find a theme worth a damn anywhere (if you got a great place for themes, share! :P). I have a TON of great pictures I like that would make a great background but I can't find anything useful.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm no expert in themes, but as long as the program you are using produces a .tsk file with the correct resolution for your device, I don't think wm5 compatibility would be a factor since all you would need to do is copy the file over to your device to use. Microsoft Theme Generator along with the Spb theme plugin should be enough to make nice VGA themes.

You can check out at www.mcdeb.com and get ThemMaker. That is what I use for QVGA, VGA..tsk file
For WM5 the bottom bar color is kinda unpredictable..You can use the tool such this one to customize the color.

Microsoft offers PPC Theme Generator for free; add to that SPB Extended Theme Generator for VGA and Spb Pocket+ support.

Pocket PC Themes isn't bad for ideas.
