Spb Pocket Plus or SBSH iLauncher

Trying to make an informed decission and I don't want to try both in demo mode. Can you tell which one do you prefer and why?

Thanks

It depends what you want. If all you want is to have shortcut icons on your Today screen, go with iLauncher as it is the best launcher program available, IMO. If you like the extra features Spb Pocket Plus offers (real close button, multiple PIE screens, etc.), go for it. Spb offers a lot of different features, but it is more expensive and I found it buggy when I tried it last November.

I went with iLauncher since I already owned PocketBreeze and I liked the features it offered. The ability to put shortcuts in the Shell Tray gives back a lot of Today screen real estate in WM5 (see MyPDA).

I personally would go with spb pocket plus. Why? I have used it for a few years now and absolutely love it. It's a great product. Just curious, why not demo them? They're free. What do you have to lose?

I already have spb pocket plus installed. Last time I tried iLauncher (can't remember if I had pocket plus installed) it locked up my Axim. I know what pocket plus can do, I was just wondering if iLauncher had more features and if it performed better.

Thanks

Ilauncher only provides shortcut icons with captions and a battery bar across the top of the screen. Pocket plus does not have captions or plans for captions in the near future.
Its an absolute mystery to me why anyone would even bother with shortcut icons if you cant label them. How do you distinguish between different word, excel doc shortcuts

Ilauncher does have a small memory leak problem also.

I am using iLauncher. PocketPlus is the slowest thing I had used on my Today screen, and the icons are absolutely horrifying. Will not use PocketPlus until they have captions.

Yes, all my iLauncher icons are custom.

I suggest iLauncher + Wisbar Advance 2.

Look at this icon rendering with iLauncher...The choice is "clear"
