Okay, its not an issue with the transparency option.

However, when I try to use a photo from my SD as my background , the level of green in the picture is way off (really browned out).

Is there some "auto adjust hue" some where?

If I use a default green background the color is fine.



Any ideas?

Guess I could use Resco and tweak it a bit, still would like to know what's happenihg though...

It's not your eyes nor is it your settings. The screen on the X51v/x50v series is just like that. The HP iPAQ 4700 and Pocket Loox 720 both use the Sony screen which is much better in quality and contrast. Comparison pictures located in the

It's strange though, that if I use a preloaded theme picture the color is vivid and saturated.
