If anyone out there is able to make a new tray icon for psShutXP that matches the 3D BT and WiFi icons posted in the forums here (by lord.cassandra I believe?)...

That would be GREAT!

I could put it in the exe file and post it here for everyone, no prob. I just can't seem to make a decent icon.

(yes, I know about the green and black one)

Well, Ok. I guess I'll answer my own post. :)

I managed to replace the default icons with some from Juni's SciFi theme.. but unfortunately I had to modify them a bit to get them in the right format.

I guess now what I need to do is figure out how to get the icon back on the right side of the screen. Since I restored with Spb Backup the icon has been on the left side. Does anyone know how to change this, or where these settings are in the registry (order that these load on reset)???

Quick question. What format was your skin? jpg, bmp, gif? I ask cuz I tried to skin mine with gif (as recommended) and didn't work. Tanks.

I'm not too sure what you mean. If you're talking about the icons for psshutxp..

To replace the red icon you need:
1 16x16 8 bit (256 color) icon (.ico)
1 32x32 8 bit (256 color) icon (.ico)

The default icons in the exe need to be replaced with these. Then all instances of the red icon on the device will be gone.

You would need the same icon formats to replace the 'display off' icon too, although I left that one as is.

The skins for psShutXP UI are .gif. You can download some from the developers website. You can also download a high resolution template for photoshop from their site and make your own.

I've also found some skins in the forums at lakeridge software. You have to add the two .gif files to the program directory and then it should work (be skinned that is).
