The Axim x51v has a VGA display (meaning its resolution is 640x480). Windows Mobile is written for QVGA devices (320x240) which use top and bottombars that are 26pixels in height. On VGA everything is dubbled in size (top and bottombars are 52px, etc).
What TrueVGA does is stopping the OS from dubbling everything in size, so the top and bottombars, text size and everything is the same as on a QVGA device. That's why you have to use a QVGA theme when you apply TrueVGA or ozVGA.

I have successfully installed the Windows Vista skin and it is very good except for skin the Windows Media Player. It has missed the full screen button so I cannot toggle between full screen and player view for video playing.
