Forgive me for my idiocy, but I have Wisbar Advance 2, and Wisbar Advance Desktop, but I have NO idea how to use these files. Any help?

I don't really get it. Press and hold on the desktop? Would that be when Wisbar is open? And where does Wisbar Advance Desktop come into play?

In Wisbar Advance 2 in settings under plugins do you have Wisbar Advance Desktop enabled? If so when you tap and hold on the today screen a menu should pop up which will allow you to edit and add items. Note that you can't bring this menu up by tapping on a plugin running in WAD.

Oh, ok. I uncheked Desktop because when it was enabled, all of my today plugins disapeared! I'll fool around with it. Another thing. My theme takes about 2-3 miniuites, maybe longer, to load. Is that normal? And..... Oh yeah..... NICE THEME!!!! If only I could get the Desktop part of it to work. The Wisbar Advance part works nicely though, and it looks great, thanks!

Edit> Desktop no worky! I noticed that under the Skinned Applications, REPLIGO.EXE is listed. Is that okay? Also, I don't like the cascaded start menu. Anyway to change it back?

Your theme shouldn't take that long load alone for WA2. This is most likely because you checked "cache icons at startup". WA takes only 1-2 seconds to load on my x51v. The applications listed under "skinned application" WON'T be skinned by WA2. This functionality to used if some application have problems with skin. If you don't have Repligo install, don't worry about it.

To remove the cascaded start menu, go to Wisbar settings - Button Assignments- select "start menu", and change to action below from "cascaded start menu" to "builtin Start Menu". I prefer this too because the cascade menu takes to long to load unless you cache icons at startup, which takes up a lot of memory.

Nope, I don't have Repligo. Next problem. The wallpaper in the screen shots don't show, and my today plugins don't either. Also, sometimes, it says it can't copy a file from \SD Card\Volatile to \CF Card\Themes. I really don't want to switch the Temp files back to \Application Data\Volatile, so is there a fix for this? Thanks!

Are you talking about Wisbar Advance Desktop? Well, you can select wall paper by holding your stylus on the today screen (with WAD running) and select Wallpaper. To add Today Plugin, select properties (I think). I'm sorry, but I don't really understand your other problems. I used to use WAD when it's in beta stage, but I don't use it anymore due to the memory and system resource it takes up.

To speed up the startup time (assuming you don't want to use the cascade menu anymore), go to Wisbar Settings - Start Menu settings - uncheck EVERYTHING except "don't cache background images".

Thanks, but I know thats how you select your wall paper. Unfortuately, I get that error.

P.S. Cache program icons on startup is already disabled. I unchecked everything else, except for the don't cache background, and its faster now! It only takes around 10 seconds now. Thanks! However, I still can't get the wall paper and the today plugins to show up. Perhaps the problem is with my using the CF card to store the skin?
