Small Question

I got everything working! I customized the today screen to just how I want it!

and...

I only have one question. Do you know how to get the standard Start menu (the one from a fresh hard reset :hide: )? When I click start/vista logo my screen looks like this:

Thank you all for the help!

To get WA2's cascading menu, go into WA2's settings and back to Program Directories (tap on My Theme and select Program Directories). In the box under Start Menu Path, make sure that it says

\Windows\Start Menu

OR

If you want to use the standard built-in start menu

Tap on My Theme (or Program Directories, if you still have it up there). Select Button Assignments. Change the start menu button assignment to Builtin Start Menu.

Some WAD skins do have prebuilt themes. This one does not nor do most. The reason being that everyone has different applications and different setups and a WAD skin basically hardcodes the paths to the apps, etc. in the skin file.

So if I had a shortcut to PocketInformant in my WAD skin, that shortcut would not work if you did not have PocketInformant or if you did not have PocketInformant installed in the exact same location on your device that I have it on mine. So you can see where problems start in trying to share skin files.

You can manually edit the skin file to redirect shortcuts, etc. to your programs. But for new users, this was a lot more difficult than building their skin from scratch.

Chris McKay over at Lakeridge Software has been looking into making theme sharing a little easier in WAD but for now, yes, you will have to build your own themes for most skins.

Is this skin still available? I have tried all of the suggestions to log into the site, but nothing seems to work. I really like the look of it and want to install it. Does anyone have any idea where I can get it?
