I mean that if I take a picture of any particular size and then ask my program (irfanview) to resize it to the size of my pocket pc the result will be that the newly sized image is stretched or compressed or something, but the new image hasn't kept the proper proportions of the image itself. How do you resize whilst keeping the image itself from being stretched?

P.S. Ok hold on and I will provide an example...

The first pic is the original and the second is resized. Maybe its not stretch but rather *squashes* the picture.

I won't ask you for any more help because I'm pretty sure that your instructions are fine and I'm just dumb. Maybe I will find some kind of tutorial or even work it out eventually by trying things out with irfanview.
