hi mate
This thread is my dedication to my 'Today Screen', btw, help me to make this thread 'clean', :)

Making a ‘universal VGA’ wallpaper for Today Screen PPC (Axim VGA + WM2k3)

Before share it, you may need some tutorial. This tutorial enables you to select the right pixel resolution and put your favorites pictures to applied with ‘Today screen’ in both VGA & Real VGA. So this will not produce a ‘tile effect’ or ‘background stretching’ when applying wallpaper -which is ruin it looks & quality.

Update; The TSK version only support SeVGA resolution,

Potrait Style

1. First you may open any image editor & make new files.
2. Fill up custom resolution to; 480 (w) x 589 (l), confirm for created
3. Select any pictures you like optimize & resize as you like
4. Now focus your image not more than VGA zone. Make sure you didn’t crop or cut the remain part because the remain effect below 539 (length) will be show on real VGA more when used. Update; For Landscape resolution refer attachment below.

Landscape Style

5. You done, save & test applied on VGA & real VGA, you can use Resco Photo Viewer to set it as wallpaper :).
Updated; You still can apply with "Picture" program, this program preloaded with WM2k3,
i. Browse the location & select t preview the images
ii. From "Tool" pull down menu; select "set as today wallpaper"
iii. Inserted the "transparenct level" value to 0, click okay & done

See, wallpaper size now matches in both VGA & real VGA resolution :)

6. Upload & share with us via image hosting like imageshack.us (please used thumbnail link)

update; we have both Landscape & Potrait resolution, only JPG image available at the moment, no *.tsk yet. Use Resco Photo Viewer to apply with.

This is a picture of my Best friend in a corset...
I cropped it a bit and it really looks good with a dark theme!
It works best on Portrait... but looks ok on Horizontal aswel.

Not sure if it safe to post but I think It is.
