Black top and bottom bars??

I can't get the top and bottom bars (navigation and command bars) to be black on my X51. I am using Microsoft Theme Generator 2002 to create themes with black bars on top and bottom. When I transfer them onto my Axim though, they will only show up in grey. Anyone have any ideas?

Search is your friend. I think you will find that most of the today screens and themes you see with that feature have been made with wisbar advanced, a commercial program.

I remember quite a bit of discussion that simple color tweaking will never be black -- its a wm5 bug, but maybe that has been corrected.

There is a program called TdyScheme Changer mentioned on this site that will allow you to change top and bottom bars to black or other colors as well as changing the color of the text.

Yea ... I've looked around but I can't quite recall the thread. There is a set of instructions around here (or xda-developers) that will help you build a theme that will ahve completely black top/bottom bars.

Search and ye' shall find.

When wm5 first came out adn on into the first of the year, this was a topic of conversation and besides some commercial programs, there weren't any alternatives. Glad to see that there are options now.
