qPod, IMO, was the best skin available but this is now my favorite skin.

very clean design, nice features like minimizing (miss the battery meter on the qPod) and navibar is functional and the controls like volume are on the playlist.


I wondering though what the two volume slides are for?

I just use the right one and leave the left one in the middle... otherwise if i max out that side too, my speakers sound like they want to blow up and never had a program that pushed the speakers like that before.

Minimizing was on qPod too, but there are some features missed on the playlist screen now I'm behind to rework.

The battery meter is provided by the title bar on a lot of installations and this is visible.
But a very small one could bring back the symmetry of the lower bar.

The left volume control is for the pre amp. Btw. It has no other real sense than keeping the skin symmetrical. ;)

- year in main is right aligned
- display of sampling- and bitrate on main
- sleep button and alarm clock state on main
- battery indicator on main
- small volume and position display on navibar, not suitable for dragging, only for display

QVGA
Enhancements of 1.2:
- sleep button and alarm clock state on main
- wrong placed prev dir button corrected

- reduced colour depth to 65k

QVGA:
Enhancements of 1.3:
- sleep button on car screen
- reduced colour depth to 65k

The reduced colour depth isn't visible at the ppc screen but reduces the storage requirements and loading or switching time.

Work and looks great, thanks for the hard work. Do you know what the size cap is for the artwork file? If it's too big the program closes.

Mort told me that he cuts at 350 kByte and it has to be PNG or JPG but it although should work without showing the cover.

Hi,

Mort, the developer of the MortPlayer has some major problems with his WEB server.
So I loaded up mine and some other skins into a German PPC forum.
Please look here. You should be able to find the apropriate download, even the forum is in German.
One of the latest versions of the MortPlayer you may find here.
