Pictures / wallpaper too dim on today screen

Does anyone know if there's a way (or program) that will allow me to change the contrast level of wallpaper on the today screen? I find pictures very much faded and it would be nice to get a little more color out of them... I've tried searching endlessly, but perhaps I'm not using the right search parameters... Thanks!

Open the pic in Windows Mobile's included picture viewer, called "Pictures & Videos," tap and hold, and select set as today background. You can change the contrast then. Blame MS for not putting that basic feature in the settings dialog.

Beautiful... thanks for the tip... but seriously, should have been a no-brainer to put that in the main settings for the today screen.

You can also try the TKCreater (freeware) program to create your own today screen where you can import pictures and set the contrast.
