What happened to the windows media player mobile skins? did they vanish off the face of the earth wmplugins.com has 1 and the link dosent work. the old skins on microsoft.com have been removed. please guys, help me on this one. all i can find is ipod-lookalike skins, & i dont want that.

go to lakeridge.com and look at the skins for wisbar.
Many of the artists doing skinpacks have made WMP skins as well

Downloaded, unzipped and copied the Tweak 2 folder into Windows Media Player on Axim X51v, but it won't show up in Options/Skin search. My other skins do show.
Hello...I don't use this skin reguarly but I have it loaded on my PDA. Have had no problems with it. WMP recognizes it no problem. Just dropped the folder into the WMP directory and it found it straight off. Hope you get it straightened out.

I'm using Tweak 1.5 VGA. I have all of those files except I don't have the "Super.png" one. I just copied them to \Program Files\Windows Media Player and it works great. Let me know if you need any more info.

FYI, never did get it to load. No response to the emails I sent.
The Elegant skin purchased at the same time works fine. I almost bought the orange one you show in My PDA, but went with the brown tones in the Elegant one instead.
I also downloaded two free WMP skins from different sites, they say thety are for WMP 9 or higher (I have vers 10) I unzipped the files & copied the folders into Programs\Windows Media Player, but mine won't show up under Options - Skins either, only the blue default skin is there. I need help, I really want to get this Jukebox skin to work. Let me ask, are we supposed to leave all the files inside the folder (mine is called Jukebox) & put that folder inside the WMP folder?

I did exactly the same thing and mine won't show under Options - Skins either. I can't understand where I am going wrong on this one.
It's funny because on my old X30 I could even put the skins on my storage card and it would find them.
Wow, that site really sucks...registration is required just to browse the forums for info, yet the inital e-mail needed to activate the account takes forever to arrive. Sloppy and frustrating as hell.

Yeah, well, the fact remains I registered -- simply to browse the forums for info -- at approximately 12:45pm today. It's now 9:55pm and I STILL haven't gotten the activation e-mail. That's unforgivably lax and sloppy. The webmaster or whoever sent me an apology but still, nine hours later and nothing.
If you're going to put a needless obstacle like that for people who just want to browse for information and then not follow through on your end, then frankly I couldn't care less about how informative the site is.

Jakonkraft: We think we fixed the problem, due to overload (by Spam) issue of our email server, which is sometime, out of our control.
