Weird, I've tried downloading a couple times now, and I get "Video Error: This file is of an unknown format" when I try to open it in PocketMVP. The older skin works fine.

the same thing happined to me when i tried copying the skin to a cf card via a cf reader and opening it from there.....

but...

transfering the skin files via the sync cable to the built in storage worked fine.....

wierd...

I had also used a card reader. When I read your post, I tried just using ActiveSync to make the file transfer - now the skin works fine. Weird is right! Sheesh...
