Help...theme is "partially" applied!!? help!!

Hi,

I installed Dashboard and Wisbar. I've applied themes successfully but theres one thing i notice. When I press the start menu, I can still see the Dell background. This only happens for the dropdown menu. What can I do?

Also, I've been looking at teh pictures for some of the themes posted and I see that they have the neat weather thing on top. What is that? How do I get it?!

Thanks!

TAP your start button, TAP settings, TAP today icon...is your theme listed?...select your theme name a check the box to "use this picture as the background" exit out and soft reset.

The weather bar you see on others' today screens are from OMEGAONE.COM (Journal Bar) Movie times and News updates also

No, I have not encountered any dashboard themes that show up on the .tsk list in the Today menu.

As for the start menu background, I am actually wondering the same thing. I have just installed Dashboard this week, and noticed the same thing.

Finally I just got frustrated....and took the .bmp dash image from the dashboard theme, and made a standard .tsk theme out of it. Then I went to the Today menu and selected my newly made theme. The dashboard theme still remained on the Today screen, but now the start menu background (from the .tsk I made) is showing up. Just a temporary workaround.....but I'm sure there is a way to incorporate the start menu background into the actual dashboard theme.

I just got my Axim last week and still getting used to it....

So I download a few Today's themes, but how do I "import" them so they can be selectable from the Setting/Today?

Thanks for the advise,
kawa

Make sure they are in the main directory of your SD or compact flash card. Do not put them inside of a folder.
