Installing themes
I just recently got my iPAQ h6315 and it is my first ppc so I'm still in the early phases of learning it. I downloaded several themes onto my desktop pc and they are in the form of *.tsk files which windows does not recognize. I'm just wondering how in the world I go about getting them onto my ppc device. I have tried using the ActiveSync program by doing an explore and drag and drop, however it won't allow me to do that. Any help would be great!

Hey man. Here is what I do, I download the file to a folder, I usually use my desktop, then I open up Active Sync and click on explore. I then copy-paste(ctrl-c and ctrl-v) the files that I want into the my documents folder of the main memory in my device. I have created a folder, within my documents called backgrounds. you could do that or just leave them lying around. You can do this process with just about any file (mp3. doc, pdf, etc) although they will be changed to the format that the device recognizes. afterwards I go start, settings, today, and select the proper file from the list, press ok then the X and ready....tsk background file displayed. hope this helps....

connect your iPaq to the computer using the cradle and activesynd, and just copy the *.tsk files to your "my documents" directory in your pocket pc. you should be able to choose the new themes in the today settings. good luck.
