For the WisBar2 VGA users...
Just in case you're not pathetic like me and live on the Lakeridge forums watching people come out with gorgeous themes, click on the MyPDA section under my name and check out Juni's new Chromium theme! My jaw dropped when I saw this today, and I've deleted the rest of the ones I had

It's a very clean, bright theme and Juni has included skins for PocketBreeze, PocketWeather, WeatherPanel as well

Had to share with everyone

Very nice. I didn't think anything could sway me from Juni's Black and White theme, but this might be it.

I never thought I would remove the black a white theme either but I must admit that is one very nice looking today screen. Gonna have to have both then.

Paws skin series
Wisbar themes sure make ppc alot more attractive and functional. I have to say I also lurk around the lakeridge forums admiring all those skins. So much so, I made some attempts myself. Check them out:

Croc
Paws VGA Blue Croc skin
Paws VGA Green Croc skin
Paws VGA Red Croc skin

Matt Steel
Paws VGA Dark skin
Paws Non-VGA Dark skin

Matt Steel: Other background variations:
Paws VGA Green skin
Paws VGA Navy skin
Paws VGA Red skin

---

PocketBreeze Skin - updated for version 4.3 extra tabs
PocketBreeze SimpleBlack VGA skin

---

Alternate start button logos if you're bored of my 'paws' logo:

Hi swampy, what version of Pocket Weather do you have set up in your PocketBreeze Tab? I see there is 1.00116 beta available. Is that what you are showing on the screen below?

By the way, welcome to the forum.

How come my black and white theme, when using VGA on my ipaq 2755, displays HUGE icons on wisbar advance 2? not the small type like you have.

As I answered in your other post - you need to use the non-VGA or QVGA skins with your device as you do not have a VGA screen.

VGA screen = 640x480
QVGA screen = 320x240

So icons for VGA are basically four times the size - whichis why they appear huge on your device.

@swhoutx035 - i'm using version WeatherPanel 2.5. To see the radar images on the today screen, i think you got to be a registered member. Also, the layout of weatherpanel's today screen can be altered by users, you can dl new layouts at the marsware forums. Basically you can have as much or as little info you want - this makes this app so highly customable.

If you like this program and you want download some VGA themes, try here:

SimpleBlack theme, done in a variety of background colours. Its same theme available for PocketBreeze SimpleBlack.

Hi Swampy. Thanks for the reply. I have a registered copy of WeatherPanel 2.3, I just didn't see the configuration you have listed in the View's drop down box. I'll check out the forums though. BTW - at the Marsware Forum, 2.3 is the latest release, how/where did you get 2.5?

Newbie troubles...
OK so that screen looks pretty impressive and I see a lot of people have included Wisbar Advance in their list of must have apps so I've gone and downloaded the trial version to have a look. Then I downloaded Juni's Chrome theme and followed (or thought I followed) the install instructions by copying the chromium.tsk to the My Document on my 4700 (from the VGA version file) and then copying the chromium WA folder (can't remember where it said to put it) and I'm not getting that awesome screen with the metalic button, etc. that I see on the Juni site....plus now the readme file has dissappeared?!
Calling all Ipaq Yoda's...suggestions please!
Thanks!

Have you gone into:
Start>Settings>Today> and chosen the theme.

Also have you started WisbarAdvanced? and gone intothe settings of that programme and chosen the 'Theme'?

Hi Rob,
Yes I have selected the theme "chromium" from start/settings/today and executed the program by going to start/programs/wisbaradvanced but (and maybe this is the critical clue) when I click on the dropdown arrowbox at the top right of the screen and select "settings" Chromium is not offered as an option. Do I have the "Chromium_WA" folder in the wrong place? I've lost the readme file and can't double check. It is currently in Program Files/Lakerigde/WisebarAdvance/Themes/
Any ideas?
