Method #1

If you only have one image, located on your PC........down towards the bottom of the Post Reply window, you will see this:

Click the yellow highlighted BROWSE button, and a Windows Explorer Tree of your PC will open, navigate to the pic, and click on it and it will be inserted in your post.

Method #2

If you have more than one picture (or you want to link to a picture ON YOUR WEB SPACE, (NO Hot Linking to someone else's Web$pa¢e). then, you need to look up, just above the text area on the Post Reply Window and click on the red highlighted IMG Button, which will open an applet with the blue highlighted URL Box. Just fill in the URL of the Image you want to post and click OK. Do this for each Image you want to add to a Post, there IS a limit, but I don't know for sure if it's on Image count or Total File Size/Post.

As far as I know, only GIFs and JPEGs will attach as an image. Any other supported image formats attach as downloadable files.

I really doubt if he's going to delete a FAQ post, but I'll leave your quote alive just in case.

I tried your first method star50, but it says "this is not a jpeg or gif. Ensure that it is", or something like that. Any help?

My first attempt to post was a bmp. image which was straight from the screen capture. It was too big. I had to convert to a jpg. Are there any programs which capture in jpg?

Don't know of any, personally. All I've seen use .bmp

But IrfanView makes it extremely easy to open & convert & resize & edit Images and Movie and Audio files.

Associate File Types to it and all you have to do is double-click on teh file, it will open, then SaveAs whatever you want to convert to.
