Trapped: Can't change Wisbar Theme...suggestions?
Never cease to be amazed by the trouble we can manage to get ourselves into with our great little machines!

At some point in the past I inadvertantly created a custom theme without any settings, buttons, etc.
I just bought Juni's Black and White Theme and when I went to install it I mistakenly hit the custom theme instead of Black & White. When I closed the window and this new theme selection kicked in there were no buttons or drop downs at the upper left of the screen where you would normally close a program (as well as see the Wisbar settings dropdown, the battery/memory pop up, etc).
Now when I go back into Wisbar Settings and try to select a new theme there is no where to close the window, meaning there is no button at the upper right to tap hence I can't select a new theme. I'm trapped! I've tried soft resets and anyway I can think of to get switched to a new theme with no luck so far. I'm out of ideas except for a hard reset but something tells me that this happened to me in the past and that I got out of it (should have deleted that bad custom theme then!).
Any and all suggestions welcome.
Thanks!

Yes, that would have been my next step but I'm actually at my store working (I know what was I working on that my Wisbar themes got messed up ). That would be the next step once I was back home at my other desktop.
I seem to have found a way out of the loop but, naturally have hit another issue with the theme...
I think the way I got out was going to the drop down menu and from the list of recently accessed programs selected Wisbar 2 Advanced (not the settings) the result being that a dropdown appeared at the upper right which would normally come down when you hit the wisbar icon on this upper panel. From this I selected "Exit" which closed Wisbar. After this I had a checkmark back at the upper right and I went into Wisbar Setting and selected the correct theme.
Now the weatherpanel theme selection is not showing the Black and White theme settings and I have checked with Total Commander and the file is definitely in the Programs>Weatherpanel>Icons folder.

BTW Rob1303, Amit looked after me and I expect I will be registering iLauncher not the least of the reason being to say thanks for the efforts, as well as the fact that the program does what you explained and that the price is so low that it's almost impossible to refuse!
Thanks again!

Red,

Just a suggestion, get yourself a copy of either SkTools or MemMaid. Aside from the bevy of useful functions they provide, they both also have a "Kill Process" function that you can use to get out of a jam like you described. I have used MemMaid to get out of a very similar situation with WA2 themes.

As for weatherpanel, the correct directory should be Program Files->Marsware->WeatherPanel

In the directory there should be a Themes and a Icons subdirectory. Move each into it's respective dirs.

HTH!

I'm looking forward to the new iLauncher already. Everybody seems quite enthusiatic about it.

JNGold,
I'll look into those programs tonight and thanks for the tips on WP. I'll take another look and see if this is what I've got wrong...
