What would you suggest for making themes.
I plan on tinkering with some ideas tonight when I get off work. I'm gonna make some 'promotional' themes for a band I work with from time to time.
Need software suggestion. Thanks in advance

Now if they would only come out with one for WM2003... If you are one of those who have WM2003 on your PPC, you can no longer send themes from the Theme Generator to your PPC.

Can a PocketPC2002 user put it on his and then beam it to that of a 2003 user?

PocketPC2002 themes work fine under WM2003.
The problem is in 2003 there has been new added features to themes.
YOu get those features only in themes made for 2003.
And this program has only the features supported in PocketPC2002

I downloaded the Theme Generator V2 and it seems to work fine right up to the point you want to save your new theme in the format that your PPC can use. Then it seems to fall short on capabilities. Does anyone know if there is an add on/plug in they failed to mention that allows you to save? I have posted this question in several threads and noone seems to know the answer or they think I'm just a computer dork. Which may very well be the case. I would, however, still like to know.

Its quite simple u just copy it across to ur pocket pc via activesync explore or if u have one ssend it across via network.

Thank you for replying, Oblox, but the problem isn't getting it over to the Axim. My problem is getting it from the Theme Generator to anything. There is no "save as" or "copy" feature on the application that I can see. Once I get my theme created I can't find where I can save it as a .tsk file. Does it just put the completed theme in a default folder the location of which I have to search for myself? I haven't tried that yet. Anyway, that's my challenge.

There is no save or save as button. You just name the theme and press finish. Check the send to device box if you want to send it right to the pda.

That's an interesting screen shot. I'll have to look for that when I get home. For some reason I haven't been getting to that screen. I haven't seen anything that says "Name Theme", Advanced or even finish. I just get "Open a theme", "Create Theme" and something else I think that I can't remember right now. I'm not sitting at my computer and this one doesn't have Theme Generator installed. That screen shot you posted is unfamilier to me.

I can browse to a file and open a picture I want to use for a theme and I can edit the picture to create a theme, but once I get back to the main screen I'm faced with the same opening screen options. I guess I'll check it closer when I get home.

There's also a free version of ThemeMaker that I use. It works great! I've made a lot of high-quality themes using it.
