Skins for Axim X51v Windows Media Player (Or ANY WM5 VGA Device)
Anybody else out there pissed that the only skins you can find for Windows Media Player for the PPC are QVGA, and you have a VGA device? I thought so, so here are a few skins I've been working on. These themes aren't mine, I've just modded them to be compatible with VGA devices and corrected some of the more obvious errors. Please tell me how I did.:approve:
Just download from the URL and extract the folder inside, then paste the folder into the "skins" folder inside the "Windows Media Player" directory in the "Program Files" folder on your Pocket PC.

sweet. The only one i really like is the pennock audio dark one, but I'm sure someone will like the others. Also worth mentioning is the windows vista one that comes with the vista skin circulating for WA2. I wouldn't post it though, without asking the author for permission

WM6 Skins for your WMP!
I have a program called Wisbar2 Advance, and while I was browsing their site, I came across a very cool theme that skins your device so that it looks like it has the new WM6 OS. It was written by a user named "Milker", and he had included some WMP skins as well. Unfortunately, they were all in QVGA, so I was able to use his excellent theme, but not the WMP skins, that kinda killed it for me. Thankfully I don't give up easily, and I sent a message requesting VGA versions of his skins, but so far there has been no response. So in the meantime, enjoy my renditions of these WM6 Skins for your WMP!
Note: just extract the folder, and copy it into your "skins" directory for WMP, you will get all 5 skins pictured below.

WM6 skins for your WMP! (Now in W I D E S C R E E N)
Here is another WM6 suite for the PPC, based once again on the work of "Milker", I've created a rendition for those of you who use your PPC's in the "Landscape" configuration, or whose devices are designed that way. Just copy the extracted folder into the "skins" directory of Windows Media Player, in the Program Files folder, you will get all 5 skins seen below.
Note for users with PDA/Handhelds with "Portrait" mode as a default: You will see these skins only if you are in Landscape mode, so don't panic if you can't see them when you are in normal mode and are in the skin chooser window of WMP.

More Skins for your Listening/Viewing Pleasure!
I have come across a few more skins you may enjoy while I was webcrawling, and here they are! Converted to VGA, or reformatted to display better! We have the "Ally" Skin, created by SolSie, a user on this site, I just had to repair some errors in the code, and resize the video window, this excellent skin also now has album art support. Next, we have the "PPCPod", and the "Blue Black Suite" both originally by "griffin 79" of DeviantArt. The PPCPod can be used either in your car, or like normal, it has both video and album art support. The Blue Black Suite has two skins included, an MP3 version, for use like normal, including video and album art, and a Car version, with no video, or album art and a larger time display. Lastly we have a REV. B of the "iPod" skin by "Will Koller". My rendition includes AlbumArt support, just like the newer iPods do.

New REV. for PPCPod
I have been doing some advance work on the PPCPod skin, and I decided to split it into two skins like the Blue Black skin, a "Car" and an "Mp3" version. These two files are included below, just download the zip, extract them, and place them into the "PPCPod" folder, and delete the existing .skn file.

IMPORTANT: .SKN file Update!
I have re-released all of the .skn files for all my current skins in one zip file, just extract the files, and copy the ones you need into their appropriate folders. The only major difference is that some of the files have minor (1 pixel width) changes in their object positioning coordinates. Also, I've autographed all these skin files for posterity.

By the way... Thes skins should theoretically work on ANY VGA (480X640) device running WM5 or Pocket WMP 9 or higher, not just the X51v. And another thing, I need feedback to see how I'm doing! C'mon people, I'll get discouraged if no one offers suggestions. Please, help me out here!

The proper folder path is as follows:
[Program Files]
[Windows Media player]
[Skins]
[SKIN FOLDER (Example: "G.Amp")]
