Auto Switch Themes in WM2k3 SE

Is there any way to automatically change themes (say everyday at 12:00AM)?

Is there some add-on program that will do this or is there a native function in SE?

I wanted a program like this also. I was looking in this forum to c if i can find something. but i seen this post i was hoping someone would have a program but i c u are asking for it lol. well let hope someone can come throught with something.

Answered my own question...

Seems the Theme Generator from Microsoft has a feature that will install a Theme Switcher on your PPC. (Check under Start > Settings > Today > Items after installing the software).

I'm not sure that Theme Generator does it, but Theme Switcher certainly does! If that's what you meant, my apologies.

Have a browse and see some other free stuff.

apologies, the link is right, I've just read the info and Theme Switcher is included in Theme Generator.

I'm sure that I downloaded it seperately?! Download Theme Generator and then install the Today Plug-in.

I found this easy, however the last sentence states:

For Pocket PCs with Windows Mobile 2002 software only

Has anyone tried it with ppc2k3se?

I have used it both with PPC 2002 and WinMob2k3 (not SE). As i remember, it worked fine with 2002, but with 2003 it seems real buggy. While running in the background with auto-change enabled, it bounces me out of the active program when the theme changes, returning to the Today screen. It also caused me to lose my sync connection. I still use it sometimes but without auto-change.

It won't send the completed theme to the ppc, you'll have to copy and paste. But it's no problem.

If the theme changes whilst you're doing stuff on the ppc it can have some undesireable effects, but I've only had one problem to report - programme hang. A soft reset puts things back to normal.
