Windows Media Player skins PPC

Hi all. new guy here. I noticed that WMP is skinnable like it's big brother. Does anyone know a source for free WMP PPC skins?

I went to MS's site, too. I couldn't find the ones I had DL'd before, but found this: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...h/default.aspx

I don't know if these will work on an X5 running WMP8.5 as these say they are for WMP9.0.

At least the link will put you in the right area. Do some digging for earlier version skins if these don't work.

for $1.49 on pocket gear, you can get a skin for WMP shaped like an ipod!

I dont believe those are WMP Pocket skins are they??? Can it use any WMP skin?

No they have to be for Pocket PC's, and be sure you get one for WMP7.1 or higher if you want to watch videos. The WMP7.0 skins only do audio. Here's a link to a nice one but it doesn't have that full screen icon, you need to map a button instead.

Someone had posted an ipod skin which I downloaded. It works great, looks great, and makes it easy to see what song is on,change songs,etc. (until I turn off the screen to save battery life):)

Go to Tools,Settings, and Buttons. You can choose what buttons to play,skip,volume,screen on and off, etc. :)

you hold the power button for about 3 seconds the screen will go off, but the music will keep goin!

BIG BUTTONS!

I've lurked for awhile and this is my first post. Just got an X-30 and couldn't be happier.

I'm replacing my single purpose MP3 player with the Axim when I'm riding the motorcycle, and I'd like a skin with big buttons so I can skip sons or adjust volume while I'm riding. Something like this would be suitable, but I can't find it and WMP didn't come with it:

Searched the MS site, and couldn't even find WMP9 to download for the PPC, though they list every other imaginable platform. I've got the skin switcher, but it mocks me because there don't appear to be any other skins installed, by starting and then stopping itself.

Oh, I've also googled every combination of "skins" and "Pocket PC" and "WMP" and "Windows Media Player". Gotta wade through a lot of irrelevant stuff to not find anything resembling what I'm looking for.
