Decided to play the screen down, it was fun playing with the backgrounds and colors, so I just made a simple gradient and keep it cluttered but clean. Easier to see what I need and get to the applications required. I don't use it for music or movies or such, so it is just a business device.
Have you ever noticed how it seems the wife always gets the hand me down PDA's and the husband gets the new one? :approve: That's the way it should be. It's about the only thing we win at. They always get the new car, ect...
Hehe..that's not the way it is at my house :D. I am the PPC gadgetaholic and my hubby just takes whatever I pass along to him. He could care less - doesn't even keep his X5 charged half the time. Just drives me crazy
You must be kidding!
I'm the gadget freak in my family. Turned both my parents on to PDAs. My father used to carry around his thick planner everywhere. Now, his ppc is the first thing out the door. My mother doesn't know what she is doing from one moment to the next, without consulting her iPAQ. We got my brother a Toshiba e335 as a graduation gift when he got his Ph.D., but he couldn't be bothered to use it. I am now on my fifth PDA, a very lovely X50v.

Why oh why do I do this to myself. I should have completely avoided this thread. Dang that x50 screen is nice. I look at the pic, then I look over at my x30. Pic, x30, pic, x30... at least my head is shaking 'no' while my mind is saying 'keep the credit card *in* the wallet, mister' :D (pauses for a moment) On the bright side y'all have some very pretty today screens and you've inspired me to take some of my lunch break to pretty up my little old friend here. :approve:
I just wanted to say that everone's themes/skins look great. :approve:
I have to agree with Cheryl. I am the gadget "freek", my husband could care less. I offered him my Axim X5 (because I never get rid of anything :) ), and he didn't want. But, my kids did - go figure. Since I homeschool 2 children, and I get tired of dealing with day planners, the x50v is a must.
Well, my husband does have an IPOD.
Here is my screen shot. I am still deciding on today plug-ins, though.
Boy, everyone's Today Screens look awesome! Especially the X50v:love: with it's VGA screens:love:. Awesomeness! :approve::approve::approve:
PamAxim (), how old are your kids, if you don't mind me asking? I'm 17, almost 18, and graduating in May. I've been homeschooled all my life. Fun to meet another homeschooled(ing) person on Aximsite.:approve:

I made the mistake of "tweaking" the borders of my today screen to make them look better with a previous theme but I forgot how I did it. Now I have bright red bordering a royal blue theme and it looks lousy. I tried theme generator and theme maker lite and neither will overlay what I have. It's driving me nuts since I did it once but don't remember. The years are taking a toll.

My children are 11 and 7. We have been homeschooling since my oldest was in 2nd grade. We enjoy it and I (and the kids) wouldn't have it any other way. :approve:
