The software used is WisBar Advance 2 and Wisbar Advance Desktop. The latter's still in beta.

Go to www.lakeridgesoftware.com for the software. WAD is available in the forums.

The skins, under WAD, tend to be a hybrid of items trawled from many places - especially when it comes to getting good icons ;)

The skin I am using for Pbreeze and WisBar Adv are my skins. The wallpaper is from the web somewhere. The icons are from www.foood.net and the weatherpanel skin and meters are from Junis SWDeluxe skin suite. Weather icons are from stardock.

Did I break it down enough for you? ;)

Here is my simple, but functional screen for my needs. I made the theme myself.

EDIT: Changed to 3D BT and 3D Wireless icons. Also added a familiar desktop-style ActiveSync icon.

Here's mine, it's an edit of the really nice osx wisbar theme by Duckie plus an extended .tsk I made with an alienware wallpaper from notebookforums.com

BE ADVISED....When a group of us made skins for various apps over at 1src for Palm (and we spent weeks doing this so people could have a whole suite of skins and they were S**T HOT) the original creaters of the Alienware theme sent everybody a personal email and posted on all threads that if the copyrighted graphics were not removed legal action would follow, I kept my skin for my own use but everybody posting shared skins had to remove them. Skinning is always done with the community in mind, and often people do actually seek permission before using someone elses original icons or graphics, but when was the last time you heard of APPLE sueing anybody for one of the infinate MAC OSX skins. Just be carfull is al I have to say.

You do know you can integrate SPB Weather into SPB Pocket Plus? It takes up a lot less space that way. ;)

huh? I didn't release the thing, I just took the alienware icons and replaced the mac icons. for me, myself and I...that's it. it's not even a skin, its just the "custom theme" option in wisbar.

Thx for the heads up, but I'm not really worried about it ;)

Also, I think you're talking about the skins factory, not alienware. All they do is make skins for stuff, so I can understand that they might want to not have their livelyhood stolen. However, they have never made a pocket pc skin, so I am kinda suprised that they reacted that way. But, they make the best skins around, so I can't stay mad at 'em :)

it was the skins factory and it's not so much the fact they objected , rather the way they did it, they could have said "look guys we can see you like our theme, and it's nice you want to put it on your PDA's but we'd rather you didn't" instead they just said if everything wasn't removed within a day or so people would start getting solicitors letters. OH well

haha ya that is kinda lame like "easy there big fella" just making some freeware skins over here, no biggie.......

I do own an alienware at least lol, tho i'm sure they don't care.

I tried to download wisbar 2 and 1 and it said wisbaradv2 is not a valid pocket pc application. what the heck am I doing wrong All I want to do is get some weather on my desktop or some other neat things.
