LarryNJ, the VGA one came out bigger because in VGA the resolution is 640x480, while in QVGA its 320x240. More pixels, bigger pcture. Damn I want an X50 !!!

Oh, that makes sense. Thanks !

I know how you feel about wanting an X50. I certainly didn't think I needed one, I was happy with my x3i. I just wanted one. Do whatever you have to get the money, justify to yourself or have someone get it for you. You won't be sorry. Good Luck!

Hehe, yes I'm fine with my X3 as well, but I want VGA, WiFi, CF Slot and more RAP&ROM (If I get one I will upgrade it so its 128/128). Justifying it to myself - done, thats the easy part .

But I made a "rule" for myself, not to even think about an X50v before a 20GB Ipod (and I am breaking this rule... alot) . I have a ton of music, so I need an IPOD, and I am estimating I will have one by early January (hopefully), after that I will start saving up for a new Axim (by the time I save up a new one might come out, I sure hope so) . So a new PPC for me is far away . Oh well, luckily its not vital for survival (or is it? :P).

Have fun with your new toy .

...mmm...what I always say to people who want an IPOD is...
"WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF YOU LISTENING TO MORE THAN 4GB WORTH OF MUSIC EVERYDAY???"
I mean... you can get up to 700 tracks on a 4Gb CF, and that's around 3000 hours worth of music... I mean... that's about 120 days worth of music (if you listen to music 24 hours a day... but you don't)... so considering that you only spend about 1-2 hours a-day listening to music ON YOUR IPOD (ok maybe even 4-5 hours)... 4GB should last you for about a year, without ever listening to the same song twice.
So what I say is, KEEP YOUR MUSIC LUBRARY ON YOUR DESKTOP, GET an X50v, and a 4Gb (if you really need that much) CF, and off you go!!!!

I have a brand new never opened Dell DJ15, if your interested maybe I'll sell it to you. It may not be as cool as an Ipod but you'd save half the cost of an X50. Every one knows an X50 is MUCH COOLER than an Ipod.

Good luck saving up for all your toys!

but some people like to be able to pick anyone of thier songs, instead of just 700 tracks.

Hehe, very true, but I have about 7GB of music right now, and I dont want to delete/upload stuff to my IPOD every few days/weeks, I want to have EVERYTHING I got on my music player . This way I can always pick exactly what I want to listen to, and my mood often changes :P

Thanks, but I have thought about that player already and decided its not for me . I've wanted an ipod for a while, and I'll stick with that plan . Yes, I know, X50 IS much cooler

Very cool looking screen, Larry! I'm jealous. Still hanging onto my X3i for now. One day, I'll upgrade it to a VGA device and give it to my wife, who is still using my old X5 Advance.

Thanks !! Very beautiful baby, I'm jealous

Looks like she could use an X5 with a disney theme.

Have you ever noticed how it seems the wife always gets the hand me down PDA's and the husband gets the new one? That's the way it should be. It's about the only thing we win at. They always get the new car, ect...

Thanks! And, I almost have to force my wife to use her PPC. Half the time I have to call her to let her know she left it at home. But, I think it does make it easier to convince her of my "need" for a new PPC.

As for cars, also true. She's in line for the next "new" one, especially since the baby was born. Her little Civic isn't cutting it these days.

But won't you have to sync your IPOD with your DESKTOP ANYWAY, everytime you add new music to your library??
(I suppose that would be an easier process rather than having to pick 700 tracks at a time though...)

Hehe..that's not the way it is at my house . I am the PPC gadgetaholic and my hubby just takes whatever I
