You can find information and a download link here

http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/for...ght=interested

Unfortunately, it is QVGA. But someone over at WeatherPanel.net was working on converting it to VGA. I am not sure of the status of that though but you can find that info here

http://pixel.citadel.org/weatherpane...opic.php?t=118

One thing that is pretty cool about this skin is that not only does the large icon change with the weather, but so does the background behind the icon. So on a clear night, you not only see a moon icon but a starry background behind it.

Here's my old one, before I had to hard-reset.
The original photos are in VGA, but I resized them here for compatibility.

Sorry to hear you had to hard reset. I really like how it was looking... can you share with me what programs you were using, im guessing WA and WAD with the mobile Vista skin ? What program gives you the "OSX Like" Dock ?

Cheers,

Out of interest, how much "free ram" do you all have after a soft reset ?

im running @ about 22mb free after a softreset on my x51v (614mhz) with only WAD and WA running.

My girlfriend has about 33mb free on her x51 (416mhz). (no idea how she has more free ram when were both running WM5 and my device is top shelf)

I often wonder at what stage do you get performance degradation due to lack of ram ? <10mb free ?

Will WAD take up more ram the more icons/content you have on your deskstop ?

Yes. WAD is a memory hog. Does your G/F have WAD running? I uninstalled it because of the memory consumption it was taking.

Yeah were both running WAD and WBA both with the same skins. Quite strange really....

is there a application or a way to run a root command to see what base level threads are running ? to try and compare the 2 ?

Would the fact my x51 is the V (VGA) model and hers is QVGA ? do the VGA drivers take up that much more ?

for the record....

its not wad that is much of the memory hog, its probably your version of wa2. there was a beta released a bit back that corrected this leak.

also, a new beta of wad was released today.
