How does the Today screen really work?

I bought FlashDash, which gives you a today screen as well as a switcher...very nice. However, when I purchased PocketWeather, the weather does not show up in FlashDash...remove FlashDash, and it's there.

How does this really work? And can the weather be made to show up in FlashDash?

Your best bet is to ask this question on the www.sbsh.net forums.

If flashDash is anything like Dashboard I believe that you have to untick using PW directly on the today screen in Settings>Today>Items - and unselect PW.

And then within falshdash select PW to be shown in one of the screens.

As I said the best place to ask about this is on the sbsh forums.

What is FlashDash?

When you say it does not display, does anything show? Can you view the detailed weather view?

FlashDash is a progam from Gigabyte Solutions...it's a today screen replacement program... see www.gigabytesol.com

No, PW doesn't display at all on the today screen...

Based on a quick scan of their features it doesn't look like it allows any Today plugins inside of it like Dashboard does. It looks like it has it's own built in calendar and task and shortcut applets. If that's the case, then PW won't go on top of it and it won't share the sreen and Amit probably won't be able to help you.

Again, that's based on a quick scan of the features listed on their website. Allowing other Today plugins in their app would be a big enough item to merit a feature mention I would think.
