How in the world do you change wisbar advance 2 themes???
i am not new to this, but i have installed wisbar ad 2 on my x50v (into main memory after being told to do it instead of cf card), and i have gotten some themes (that are for wisbar 2.0), and put them in the correct folder of device/wisbar/themes....once i try to change the theme in settings, i see the original three themes there, WA default, pocketpc default, and custom theme...why is my theme not there??

do i have to install all the pieces individually through custom theme? surely that is not the way to do it!

In theme settings, there are 3 tabs along the bottom of the screen, Theme, Custom Theme & Overrides, click on "Custom Theme" there's a button to import themes, click on that and you can browse to find your themes, click on your theme and then hit OK.

You should now have your theme and it's elements.

Btw, dunno if the Dev of Wisbar 2.x fixed this: When you import a them it makes the start menus text approx. 200, so be sure to modify that in the prefs.

Well, are you clicking the little green checkmark and not the "OK" button?

Themes
I always find it easier to copy the theme (it must include the *.skin file in the folder) into the themes folder for Wisbar. To do this you must place the unzipped WA2 folder under Program Files > Lakeridge > Wisbar > Themes. You will see the two default themes in the folder. Copy it there. Then go into Wisbar settings and select the theme from the list.

Best of luck!!

Try organizing your themes into FOLDERS rather than just shavving every file into the /THEMES folder... I did that and it worked!

well it's funny, cause i have tried all you have said...but unfortunately, some themes just will not show up on my list...i tried some other ones, and they finally did show up.
not sure what is wrong cause these are all for WA 2.0, and they are all in the same structure as the ones that worked, all in their own folders in the same directory. i dunno, need to try and figure it out.
