How do I put a picture as wallpaper?
I went to the Today screen and set the wallpaper there but the picture went distorted, less color, etc.

It seems to desaturate and wash it out. BVe carful on how big you make it, the redraw time will kill the axim not to mention chew up memory.

To select it, use file manager and hold-click the pic. The option to "set as wallpaper" will pop up. You can set the transparency of the pic when you first select to use it.

Be sure it's properly sized in comparison to 480x640 or 240x320 on the Axim. Otherwise, most pics will be like that. Also, try to pick a picture that won't clash with the text on the main screen. Most excellent pics are plain on top or scenes in which the top is easily readable.
