I've had it on my Pocket PC for a while now. It's really a benefit when I'm using my Pocket PC as a TV remote because my IR is on the side. When the screen is rotated, the buttons are facing the correct way.
The most annoying thing is that you have to soft reset between landscaping/portrait and resolution changes.
To be honest, I don't use it as frequently as I thought I would. Most programs, at least for WM2003FE and previous were designed to be run in portrait at the standard resolution, after all.
I bought mine at a discounted price at the same time I bought TextMaker. If you simply landscape TextMaker, you don't really gain much screen real estate because the input screen takes up so much room.
You can, however, adjust the resolution using Virtual Display. If you can read really, really small text (I can), then you can view things like Adobe docs in full width. This is nice, and I've set up a customized resolution (something like 400 x 300)that doesn't show full width, but does show much more of the document.
Anyhow, I'd recommend thinking really hard about what you'd use it for. If gaining some real estate like my customized resolution would be something you'd use alot, then it might be worth it. Most programs run okay in landscape, but some do not. Changing the resolution also goofs up some programs and your Today screen. I do like having it, and I'm glad it's on my machine for the times that I do use it.
