PIM App for WM 2005 Any super choice?

PIM Software
I am looking one more time for a really good, easy to use, yet still has more flexibility than the OS software which comes with WM 2005.
I am aware that the data will be taken from Outlook. With that said, anyone have a current favorite?

PocketBreeze is the best all around interface to "Pocket Outlook". SPB Diary is close 2nd and I'd only really use it if I had other SPB apps to integrate it as well

For a PIM you are looking at either PocketInformant or AgendaFusion.

Although I agree that a really good Today plug-in like PocketBreeze may be everything you need.

FWIW, I use both PocketBreeze and PocketInformant.

I use Agenda Fusion and am quite happy with it. I reviewed Pocket Informant, and I think that's a pretty good application too - you can't go wrong with either one.

x2 on Pocket Informant. I used the built-in WM5 modules for a while and didn't know what I was missing!

They all have trial versions so download each (PocketInformant, Agenda Fusion and Pocket Breeze) to see which you like best.

Like AKAJohnDoe I use PB and PI.

Always try before you buy!

I would recommend three trials, non-overlapping, that is, serially:
  • PocketBreeze with the default PIM
  • PocketBreeze with AgendaFusion as the PIM
    • Disable the PocketBreeze Today plug-in to see how you like AgendaFusion by itself
  • PocketBreeze with PocketInformant as the PIM
    • Disable the PocketBreeze Today plug-in to see how you like PocketInformant by itself

Also, while I recommend PocketBreeze, there are at least two other well-known Today Plug-ins that others use. Spb Diary and Journal Bar.

I see no one recommends Agendus. I, too, am looking for a good PIM, and over the next several days will be trying all of the above recommendations. Anyone use Agendus? BTW, I am currently using PocketBreeze by itself, and I love it.

What a third-party PIM like PocketInformant or Agendus brings to the table, above and beyond a Today plug-in like PocketBreeze or Diary, is additions to the capabilities of the PIMs such as advanced recurring options and additional views.

I need those capabilities myself, but not all the time, so I use PocketBreeze and invoke PocketInformant as needed. Obviously, PocketInformant always gets invoked on an edit of an existing item or a create of new item.
