I am trying to install the Isis browser on a windows mobile 2003 pda. in the cab setup file, i was able to change the Min OS version check from 4.0 to 2.0.

Now i need to know how to rebuild the cab file. or if there is an easier way to edit the setup file from within the cab instead of extracting all the files.

Wm5+ and wm2003 are pretty different oses. I know i have gotten some software that was made for wm5+ to install, and sometimes even though it installs fine, the program fails to run or freezes my pda. Rarely it will run good, meaning the developer just didnt want to support wm2003.

I dont know how to rebuild a cab file, but even if you get it working, if it was made for wm5+, the chances of it working just because you got it to install are rare.
