A Better Dialer for your Phone

I have been using a HTC Mogul and more recently a HTC Touch Pro and have found their stock dialers to be somewhat lacking, especially the small softkeys which are no match for my small fingers. I have tried several skins which to some degree or another have improved the experience a bit but still not to my liking.
I had read an article about a program called PhoneX by Iconsoft at iconsoft dot com and decided to give it a try. They have a 14 day free trial in case you don't like it. I tried it first on my mogul and really liked the features especially the haptic feedback when I pressed the keys. Something that I really envied on my friends BB storms. But more importantly, the keys were larger. In addition, I also have SPB Mobile Shell, which while great for launching programs just didn't hit the mark when it came to searching through my contacts. Incidentally, the Touch Pro is much better at scrolling than the mogul - its much more smooth and touch friendly like my ipod touch.
Anyway, I'm now trying the free trial on my Touch Pro and really like it. It does not give any noticible hit on my resources or performance and is quickly launced by hitting the phone button.
I can set up favorites, scroll through recent calls and send SMS messages all from the same scree.
I have been using the older 1.4 version but it looks like they came out with a new 2.0 version late september so I'll most likely be purchasing that. Its a bargain at $24.95.

Thanks. I intend to use it.
I checked out iconsoft dot com I think I like the look of PhonEx. Will get the app. The PhonEx ought to eliminate the need for a bulky phone with keypad/dialpad

Not sure what you mean about that partof your reply twiggy. I used it as a replacement to my stock dialer on my HTC Touch pro, not as a replacement for a phone. Unless of course you are talking about goint to a phone like the touch pro or the diamond, which, btw, I think are both great phones.
