" on Handango, but it is charging me $14.99.... 25% increase just to make it WM5 compatible :) ? And I don't even need WM5 compatibility at this time...

Well, there was no price increase.
This is the regular price, but MemMaid was on promotion price for that past couple of months. at 11.99.
WM5 compatibility came for free for everyone and it is just co-incident that the promotion ended with release the update.
Thats good news. But in the update history I see that the only added feature 1.5 has over 1.44 is the WM5 compatibility. I'm using 1.44 and on WM 2003 SE. should I update?

In general, we always recommend to get the latest version, because when a new version comes out, there are changes and minor fixes that goes along with major update.
Unless, you have a good reason not to upgrade, it is always better to upgrade.

Whatever happened to adding encryption for TapText data?
It's the one thing that makes me leary to put any sensitive data - like passwords! - in TapText.
If I remember correctly, this was requested early on and you said that this would be considered for the next release.
This release has been a long time coming....

Text encryption is still in our plan, however there are some technical and usability issues we're facing.
Those updates (which started today) are mainly for square screen support.

Optional "Auto program switch" (with configurable timer)
When this feature is on, just use the arrows to the desired program in HandySwitcher's menu and wait for few seconds (depends on your timer configuration) and HandySwitcher will switch to this program for you.
