Question How do you move the "My Documents" Folder?
Does anyone know a registry tweak or other hack in order to make the default location of the "My Documents" folder appear on the CF or SD card? I'd like to save memory space for programs and not data. Plus, the bonus here is if the AXIM crashes, the data is still safe on the card. Any other thoughts on memory management would be helpful as well.

there is no stopping you on creating a My Documents on your CF or SD card.

Just a word of caution, it is highly recommented that you create the folder using file explorer (or other equivalent program like Total Commander) on your Ax, rather than creating it through your desktop PC.

Ok, what next?
Yeah, I tried that. There is a zero byte file included on the Flash card that says: "ignore_my_docs" What is the purpose for this file? I'm not clear on how this works...

When I put files in the Axim Sync folder on the desktop, the don't appear on the Flash card, they appear in the Memory area of My documents. :crooked:

Any other suggestions?

Delete the Ignore_My_Docs file and it will then see the files under your My Docs folder on the SD or CF card.

Does this mean that if you place the "ignore_mydocs" file into main memory that the one on the card will become the default?

Alternatively, can you have both working?

You can both at the same time .. For instance if you have word documents in both the main My Documents and the SD/CF My Documents, when you open Word it will show all the .doc files from both ...

MightySync will allow you to sync any folder on your Axim with ActiveSync.

System folders?
Are the "\My Documents\" and "\My Documents\Templates\" considered system folders? I've tried to delete them but they're still there. Must be like PC version.
