It's the best if you move them in the home of MS Portrait; for example, \CF Card\Microsoft Portrait

I have relocated all the dlls except for "gd104.dll". I couldn't find it under windows\. any idea why I don't have it there? I have portrait 2.3 installed.

akheron: i couldnt find that "gd104.dll" either.

another question....i tested it out and it work!!! first i tried my internal ip(192.x.x.x) since i have a linksys router. then i read it somewhere where someone said if u need to call from the outside to my home...that i need port forwarding...that "Microsoft Portrait requires port forwarding to work...ports 8100-8120 have to be forwarded. so i went into my linksys router and forward those ports and it works!!!

but the question is...how come you need port 8100-8120? what are those ports use for and their name? when i search in microsoft portrait homepage...no where it said i need those ports to be opened...yet someone here name Gigi said i need those port to open to work....how come microsoft didnt list those ports to be opened?

In these cases (when you're behind a firewall) don't use direct p2p connections but server-based ones - for example, log into MSN Messenger from Portrait and initiate the call from there. I think it'll work (not sure though - haven't checked).
