Personalized Google is the perfect way to get your email, news, weather and other information all in one easy to read page. You can choose from various companies to receive these services from (including Google, BBC, Sky, USA Today) or choose your own (including Aximsite!)
HowTo: Get Started with Personalized Google
You can get your own Google Personalized search page by visiting
http://www.google.com/ig and registering. From there, you will receive a rather basic, although rather different Google site, which you can add to and remove things from at your own will, simply by clicking "Add content" - in the top left hand corner of your new page.
HowTo: Add content
Adding content is rather easy, and will become easier as you get used to the site, but to add for example USA today news feed, simply click "Add content" in the top left corner, and USA Today will appear on your homepage. Then click edit, and you can choose how many items you want to see from this particular site. Now simply click the title, "USA Today" and drag it to where you want it on the page.
HowTo: Add Aximsite (and other feeds) to your page
Now's the part you've all been waiting for, yes here is how I will reveal howto get most site's news pages onto your Google Page. First, you must visit the site you wish to feature, and look for a small logo like these:

or

- once you've found this image, click it. You will be taken to a basic news site, not to disimilar to the one you were viewing before you clicked the image. Copy the URL of that site to the clipboard (Ctrl+C) and go back to your Google Personalized Page, click Add content, then "Create a Section" where you will see a small text box. Paste (Ctrl+V) the link you copied earlier into here. Now you will be able to drag, drop and edit the new box as I said in the "Add content" HowTo.
