/ use #2 for SEARCH purpose ( what filename represent ..etc )

example: I'll take the Axim ROM for example ... they start with the letter "R" :exc:

I'm only posting this since I read some posts regarding people would preferred one version over the next..etc... whichever works for you... here's the way to obtain the file that you needed ;)

I'll take RANDOMLY a file name "R100369.EXE"

go to address given in # 2 ( www.dell.com )

*** copy & paste or type in manually the filename in the SEARCH BOX and .... it tells me the following:


System Utilities: Dell Axim X50v VGA System Update for Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, Utility ( JAPANESE version )...etc :)

it will let you know what that file represents.

now they hold everything that I can see of, dated back to 1997 - present :)


multilanguage ROM versions also available too, for those that required them.

*** as far as I can tell ... ROM files started with letter "R" *** usually ,most ... NOT ALL :p

ROLL UP/ROLL DOWN ... whatever your needs...Have fun "tracking" ... and remember to come back to the #1 link from time to time and check for the latest date to see if there's any NEW releases... and then do the above again & find out what the release is for..etc ;) ( because sometimes they tend to update the page BEFORE they upload the files or vice versa & people can't download until a few days later...etc ) :approve:

*** I just realized that ALL models of DELL users can find files for their particular models as well... not just the X50/X51 line *** ( X30..X5...etc.. all files since 1997 are there )
