Exclamation Preserving/Recovering your Tengo 2.10 dictionary.

For whatever reason eventually you will have to perform a hard-reset and a clean re-installation of software e.g. ROM upgrade/downgrade, yearly maintenance.

If/when you find yourself in this situation. You will probably be very frustrated at having loss custom settings that took weeks if not months to add this includes your dictionary of frequently used words. Unfortunately many programs donot offer an obvious way to backup there settings outside of the registry.

If however you use Tengo 2.10 your custom dictionary can be preserved indefinitely. Simply use Resco's file explorer or Total Commanders file explorer to search for tengo.db this is the database file where all the words you have added since you installed the program are held. Copy this file to a storage card and zip it.

Now whenever you must perform a clean (not a spb/sprite recovery) re installation of software. Simply copy the tengo database file to your windows directory. And you are in business. :approve:
