Question File Import

How do I import a file (Word, Excel) into the AXIM without the O/S doing a file conversion.

I want to transfer files between two PC when I do not have a floppy or when the file is larger than the capacity of a floppy.

File import

I am still using PC 2002.

File conversion seems to be automatic. I want to disable file conversion.

From the AS Help file:

1 Click Options , and then click the Rules tab.
2 Click Conversion Settings.
3 Clear Convert files when synchronized, copied or moved.

Hope this helps.

In Active Sync, go to: Options, Rules, then Conversion settings. Ensure the box beside "Convert files when Synchronized, copied, or moved" is unchecked.

Thanks for being slow Feyo. Like you just now, I have a hard time getting answers in before others. I guess having so many people trying to help is a real "problem".

Keep trying, we all need help now and then.
