I noticed most of the language change questions are in this forum so My question is....I am trying to convert my Ipaq to english so I can download the ROM update for it.

I have a 5455 and when I get to the ROM Image is incompatible screen it is saying my Ipaq ROM is language : HF' (with several spaces following and a couple more characters that I cannot figure out)


Second part of the question is :

If this is the current ROM version and I am trying to update to the new ROM image...do I have to convert to english or can I keep the new version in the same language as the original ?

The reason I ask is because right now although it is showing the ROM in another language I see the Ipaq as English. (all of my letters are english not whatever HF' is ???

Wheew...that will mess with your head. I do not know how to word that last paragraph.
